GRIN AND BEAR IT

Poor old Daniel back in early times
found himself in a room full of lions
but Daniel had faith that the lions wouldn't bite
so he grinned and settled down for the night
He had to grin and bear it, grin and bear it
he had to take it on the chin
So grin and bear it, grin and bear it
like old Daniel in the den
Robinson Crusoe was a lonely man
tho' he owned the whole island
stranded the rest of his natural life
without a television or a wife
He had to grin and bear it, grin and bear it
he had to take it on the chin
So grin and bear it, grin and bear it
like old Crusoe did
Benedict Arnold was in real bad shape
kicked plumb out of the United States
the biggest spy in history
the only man without a country
He had to grin and bear it, grin and bear it
he had to take it on the chin
So grin and bear it, grin and bear it
no matter what kind of shape you're in
