LOVE IS A DANGEROUS THING
By John D. Loudermilk(c)1961 Acuff-Rose Publ. Inc.
Love, la la la la la, love, la la la la la
Love is a dangerous thing
I left my baby's house, the other day
Her goodbye kiss had put me in a daze
I got into my car and I rode around
I drove off of a bridge, and darn near drowned
My baby and I were parked, on a country road
We were holding hands, listening to the radio
And the cops came up in their car, flashing their light
They took my baby home, but locked me up all night
I took my baby sweet to the high school hop
We were having a ball until they played the bop
We had the floor to ourselves till I stumped my toe
And landed in front of everybody on my nose
